The SBD that circulates doesn't capture the "meltdown" in Let it Grow, or the most amazing version of "Shakedown" in the '90's (I don't say that lightly)
I can remember an interview with Bob Bralove shortly after this show, saying that he thought they thought they had "turned a corner" in terms of the midi-technology.
And indeed, they had,
What they didn't know was Garcia had turned a corner as well.
He'd married a money-grabbing gold digger, and would be back on The Persian within a year.
What a horrible waste.
A good audience of this show only serves to remind us what could have been.
